My Firefox updated to version 3.5.5 and now the LJ entry view looks strange, missing pictures plus the horrible Times New Roman font. On my portal page everything looks fine [www.livejournal.com/portal/], but to have the usual style by the entries I must switch to IE view:
page rendered by ff engine page rendered by ie engine
On my old PC I have a previous version of Firefox and everything is ok there. What can I do to solve it without switching to ie view? Is it possible they will fix it in the next firefox update?
Thanks!

| 8 Channel Mic Pre (X-Posted to Recording Studio) |
[06 Nov 2009|04:37pm] |
I'm looking to buy an 8 Channel Mic Pre around this time next year. What are some good suggestions? I'm running a Digi 003 and will eventually buy my own Digi 003 Rack+ for the all balanced connections. I want some good pres to mic a whole kit with. I'm currently using the Direct Outs of my guitarist's Allen and Heath mixer.
Some things I'm looking for: Phase Reverse, 48V, HPF, and Balanced outputs.
Right now, the Phoenix DRS8-8 Channel Preamp is looking pretty sexy. But anyone got any other suggestions?
Thanks guys!
(finally, a post that isn't about some lame VST plugin that can't do realtime processing haha)

| help with audio interface |
[03 Nov 2009|12:50pm] |
hey all, i bought a focusrite saffire audio interface a little over a year ago and use it with cubase on my computer. a few weeks ago it started randomly reseting itself and losing the connection. so, i tried another firewire cord and that seemed to somewhat fix the problem. now i am having problems in that the things i record are not in time with the existing tracks. it's like there is a noticeable delay in communication between my interface and cubase. is there some really obvious answer and i'm just stupid? i'm not super audio savvy...thank for any ideas.
